NEKTON-Orange is a pet food supplement that was specially developed for orange-colored canaries (such as Yorkshire and Norwich) to intensify color for orange areas in the feather. NEKTON-Orange prevents feather colors from fading and can help to support the bird’s health in a natural way during the molting period.
In order to increase the quality of NEKTON-Orange, we focused on great value natural components. NEKTON-Orange contains pure brewer's yeast & yeast cell walls and combines the advantages of the prebiotic and immunostimulatory effects of yeast cell walls with valuable nutrients of brewer's yeast. Brewer's yeast is one of the most valuable products of all because it is a combination of health-promoting nutrients. These include essential amino acids (such as methionine, which is particularly important for birds), B vitamins, various minerals, trace elements and enzymes. The nutrients contained in the brewer's yeast have a positive effect on the bird organism and are important components for new plumage, which are increasingly needed during molting. Brewer's yeast can strengthen the bird's immune system and can help support the intestinal flora.
In addition to brewer's yeast, NEKTON-Orange contains brewer's yeast cell walls, which consist of mannan oligosaccharides (MOS) and ß-glucans. These ingredients can have prebiotic effects on the beneficial microflora of the intestine and can naturally promote a balanced intestinal flora.
Feeding Recommendation
1 to 3 level measuring spoons of NEKTON-Orange with 100 g soft food.
It is advisable not to administer NEKTON-Orange with water, as the supplement contains natural components that are not water-soluble.
NEKTON-Orange is administered shortly before and during molting.
Storage:
NEKTON-Orange should be stored dry and out of sunlight, between 15° and 25°C.

Disinfect drinking vessels and food containers daily with NEKTON-Desi-Care to guarantee hygienic and clean feed!
Orange canaries resulted from a cross between yellow and red canaries and keep the yellow xanthophyll lutein and red canthaxanthin together in the feather. NEKTON-Orange contains ground marigold flowers, which intensify the yellow basic color of the orange canaries and the dyes canthaxantin & beta-carotin, which cause the red plumage. This creates an intense orange plumage color in the canaries.
Tagetes is a natural product that contains various carotenoids that are of vital importance for colored feathers. Carotenoids are not only known for their coloring effect, they are also awarded physiological effects (as biological antioxidants or immenstimulierende effects). Tagetes also contains active ingredients that are involved in the formation of new plumage.
The need for individual amino acids during the moult is particularly high. An insufficient supply of the bird with amino acids can lead to a delayed change of feathers as well as disturbances of the feather morphology (such as, for example, curved or very soft feathers). NEKTON-Orange contains 18 amino acids, which can support the formation of new plumage during the strenuous moulting period.
In order to obtain an optimal coloring, NEKTON-Orange should be used with the beginning of the molting.
A daily diet must contain sufficient vitamins, minerals and trace elements for a functioning metabolism and therefore a combination of NEKTON-Orange with NEKTON-Biotin or NEKTON-S is recommended.
