Green-lipped mussel (Perna canaliculus) is a type of mussel native to the waters off New Zealand. In addition to its excellent taste quality, the green-lipped mussel is also known for its proven positive effects on various physical ailments. This characteristic has made it a popular product for both humans and animals. The ingredients in the green-lipped mussel can contribute to improving joint health, reducing inflammation, and promoting the overall well-being of dogs.
The key components of the green-lipped mussel are glycosaminoglycans. They play a crucial role in the function and structure of joint fluid, ensuring smooth joint movement. Administering green-lipped mussel powder can enhance the natural intake of glycosaminoglycans, thus supporting joint function.
Omega-3 fatty acids found in the green-lipped mussel have anti-inflammatory properties and can promote skin and coat health in dogs.
In addition, the green-lipped mussel also contains glucosamine and chondroitin. Glucosamine is essential for the construction and maintenance of tendons, connective tissues, cartilage, and joint capsules. Chondroitin is a component of cartilage, enabling it to retain water. As the body ages, it loses the ability to produce glucosamine and chondroitin, which can eventually lead to joint degradation. NEKTON-Dog-Move Power is typically used several times a year as an eight-week course.
It can be easily mixed into the dog's food or wrapped in a slice of sausage or cheese.
Small dogs (up to 10 kg): 0.5 g
Medium dogs (10 - 30 kg): 0.5 g to 1.5 g
Dogs over 40 kg: 2 g to 4 g

Lagerung:
NEKTON-Dog Move Power should be stored dry and out of sunlight, between 15°C and 25°C.
