Water Solubility
Regularly Tested by Us
We regularly check the water solubility of our products. As part of this testing, we examined the influence of different pH values on the solubility of our products.
According to the German Drinking Water Ordinance, drinking water may have a pH value between 6.5 and 9.5. On the test day, the drinking water in Pforzheim had a pH value of 8.0. To test water solubility in slightly acidic and slightly alkaline water, the pH values were adjusted to 6.5 and 10.2.
Conclusion: Changes in pH value have no effect on the solubility of the products. In general, our products dissolve easily in cold water when stirred. The images below show how the products appear in dissolved form.

NEKTON R-Beta dissolved in cold water at three different pH values 6.5 / 8.0 and 10.2 (from left).

NEKTON-R-Beta, NEKTON-R, and NEKTON-Yellow (from left) dissolved in drinking water.

NEKTON-S, NEKTON-E, and NEKTON-B-Complex (from left) dissolved in drinking water.
